i think donations are good too but i think at this point it's better if we buy her gifts since its more practical and it'll also help her know about the forum more

yes, supporting unicef would be good... and there are 3 gifts project we can do this year...
which are IU's birthday, IU's debut 1000th day, and IU's 3rd anniversary...

I think making donations is a very good idea but what are the payment methods? can paypal do the job?

As for her birthday, i think we should get something that she can keep, that is memorable, with our fanclub logo on it...something like T shirt or tags... but i think the guitar idea is very good, we can buy female acoustic guitar for her since she often use that kind,and place some designs over the guitar if possible, but i am not really sure of detailed information bout guitars... we can also gift things that we made ourselves, like a big card(as someone suggested), and not just buying and give it to her, its because she is rich and can get whatever things she want...we want her to recognize us so we have to give special things...

Another suggestion is that we give her what she like, something that she prefer or adore (since we often get what we like during birthdays LOL), but still...have to be special

Anyway, I will help with any projects in the future

I dont think buying a guitar is a good idea..she should already have a bunch of high end guitar..unless we get her a really good one..i doubt she'll ever use it..

I think buying a good meal for IU and her staff would be a good idea. Imaging how proud and touched IU would be when she receive the meal. We could get donations and throw a birthday party for iu and her staffs or something like that.

Diadem had done something like for members of t-ara and the response was really good...the members were touched and so are their staffs.

I liked this idea a lot actually~ I think if we show IU who we are and sing for her it'll really touch her.
But if not enough people are willing to do so I don't think it would be much of an impact.

i can't agree more to this. besides the fact that i love singing myself, i also see people being active here in the I Sing U Sing section where it's kinda abandoned in other forums.
some other fandoms did this kind of projects already and i do think they're successful.
one of the best gift is to cover iu's song in many languages to show how international fans support her, for example like what European Cassies did for TVXQ here below:


i personally think this project will be best done for anniversary or birthday.
