IU's voice back when she was a middle school student was recorded into Wanted's new album.

According to LOEN, who helped with the production of Wanted's 3rd album, "Among the songs in Wanted's 3rd album this time, IU participated in the chorus for the song entitled, 'Can't Bear the Sight of it'. The recording was done before she debuted and IU's young voice was added into the song exactly the way it was."

Back when IU was still a trainee, she used to receive guitar lessons and vocal training under Wanted's Ha Dong Kyun, thus she had the opportunity to participate in the chorus for this song even before she debuted. However, the members had to put their activities on hold when they joined the army and could only release the song now, 5 years later.

Wanted will be releasing their 3rd album, 'VINTAGE' on Jan 20th and their pre-released single, 'Like You', featuring IU, shot to first place on music charts, raising expectations for their official album release.


[Note: That means IU participated in two of their songs, not one. It's not clear whether 'Like You' was recorded back then or now though. Probably back then, judging by her current schedule.]

Was that the MV teaser that Loen Entertainment promoted? Because I remember when "Like You" came out and then the teaser came out, but the teaser for another song and I heard her voice, so I was confuzzled lol

This is so interesting and sweet. :3 Like You is amazing, and I'm sure this one (as well as the entire rest of the album--this group is so talented) will be just as beautiful and well-made. I'm excited to hear it! Even more so, now that I know the recording is from so long ago.

Their title song will be something called "너에게로 간다".. Go Over to You (?). I'm guessing the teaser is for their title song
